I always love to have the perfect wedding end with a little surprise. Have your wedding planner arrange the donuts along with hot brewed coffee equipped with to-go cups on a table by the exit so your guests can grab a treat with a cup of joe on their way home.

Pizza Bar

Have your wedding planner order or coordinate with your catering company to make numerous different types of pizzas for your guests to nibble on prior to their departure. A cute addition is to have your wedding planner place out pizza cutting wedding favors such as the ones below in the pizza bar for your guests to grab along with their favorite pizza slice.

Bride and Groom's Junk Food Deliver

Have your wedding planner coordinate with your catering staff to make up your favorite junk foods in a mini version. Place your cheeseburgers, fries, popsicles, chicken wings, corndogs, etc. for your guests to munch on. Really pizazz your guests by sending out these junk foods by having your catering staff deliver the food on silver trays. Talk about wow-ing!!!

Tips for giving a wedding toast

It's that nerve breaking moment, you have just received 'the tap' on your shoulder to stand up in front of every guest attending the wedding and all eyes are on you. Don't freak! Remember to breathe, smile and speak from your heart when giving your wedding day toast. With all of these ingredients included, your toast will be great and you'll either have everyone rolling around on the floor or searching for just one more tissue to wipe their tears away.

Here are a few helpful tips when giving a wedding day toast:

1. Start by introducing yourself and your relationship to the couple. This will help malke your toast more personal to the guests.
2. Speak in a normal voice and use humor (in good taste) to put yourself and the audience at ease.
3. Reminisce a positive story about the bride or groom.
4. Kepp the toast short and sweet (3-5 minutes). This will help keep the audiences attention.
5. Occasionally glance at the audience but the main focus throughout your toast should be kept on the bride and groom.
6. Practice your toast in front of a mirror and in front of someone else prior to the day.
7. End by asking the guests to join in you rainsing their glasses toward the couple, concluding with the couples name. This will ensure everyone will be toasting to the new couple.

Preservation Week: Preserving Your Wedding Cake

So you just couldn't get enough of your wedding cake on your wedding day and now it is your one year anniversary, the anticipation of pulling your wedding cake out of the freezer to have a tantalizing slice is just about to drive you insane. You pull it out of the freezer and it looks a little strange but you figure "oh what the heck, I bet it is still so delicious"....that is until your husband and you actually take a bite and realize it's FREEZER BURNT.

Today is all about how to keep your wedding cake as well preserved as possible up until your one year anniversary. Here are some helpful tips:

1. Remove all adornments such as flowers, sugar pieces, cake toppers, etc.

2. Make sure to chill your cake first in the refrigerator. This way the icing hardens and it will not stick to the plastic wrap when you begin wrapping it.

3. Wrap the cake in plastic wrap NOT FOIL. The aluminum foil is what causes the awful freezer-burn.

4. Place the wrapper cake in a freezer safe airtight bag and then place it in your freezer.

A great tip too is just to order a replica wedding cake on your anniversary to ensure the freshness. Many bakeries are now offering this services along with your wedding cake so that you can relive every experience on your wedding. Talk with your cake baker today about this possibility, most will give you a voucher to bring in.

Preservation Week: Preserving Your Bouquet

Did you just absolutely love your wedding bouquet? Do you wish you could cherish it forever?? The great news is that you can. There are many methods on how to preserve your wedding bouquet. You can take it to a professional and have them either freeze-dry or press them or your can preserve it at home by using sand, silica gel, or borax. Read below for some helpful tips.

Tips:
1. Make sure to start the preservation process within 1-4 days days after your wedding
2. If you want your bouquet to look as realistic as possible have a professional freeze-dry it. The bouquet will be taken apart, freeze-dried, and then the flowers will be put back in place. This entire process can take a few weeks.
3. If you want your bouquet pressed and framed make sure to bring it to a professional. The bouquet will be separated, pressed down, and rearranged in a frame to make a keepsake for you.

Here are some great tips on preserving your wedding gown:

1. Find a cleaners who specializes in wedding gown preservation. Make sure to check that they use another solvent besides the standard kind because it would be to harsh to keep your gown together.

2. Ask the cleaners if you can see your dress after it is cleaned prior to them packing it up. You want to make sure all the stains came out and it was cleaned properly.

3. Make sure your gown is stuffed with acid-free tissue. This acid-free tissue should be placed between the layers of your dress and stuffed in the bodice to ensure no permanent wrinkles.

Post-Wedding Thank You Notes

As your wedding day comes to a close, your life starts to get back into order. As you get back on track at work, get all of your errands ran that haven't been done in months, clean up your house and organize all of your wedding odds and ends, you can finally take a breather! As your life slows down, don't forget about all of your friends and family members that helped make your wedding happen as well as the ones that gave you a wonderful gift on your wedding day. Although, many think thank you cards are a thing of the past, they are by far the most endearing way to express how grateful you are for everyone that was involved in the process.

A few things to remember when writing your thank you cards:

1. Always personally write your thank you cards. It always mean so much more and comes from the heart when you hand write a thank you.

2. Make it a TEAM effort. You are married and your wedding day was a day of unity to bring you together as a family. Share the tasks of writing your thank-you cards and allow both yourself and your husband to put some thought into them.

3. If you like the gift, express that you will treasure or use it for years to come.

4. If you don't like the gift, express how "thoughtful" it was for them to

While reading through one of the old bridal magazines laying around my office I came across this great article about wedding guests' needs in Brides Florida. I loved the article so much, I wanted to share part of it with you to help you to be considerate of your guests' needs:

"DRINK: Keep the bar free, stocked, and open. Enough said.

FOOD: Have "normal" food available for those who don't share your love of smoked eel tartare. Also make sure to have options for vegetarians and those with food restrictions. If you want to include some "out there" food choices, do it during the cocktail hour.

PRIVACY: Always check the capacity and condition of your site's bathrooms. If you're renting portable restrooms, spring for the "upscale" models (your guests don't need a Lollapalooza flashback).

SAFETY: If you're hosting an outdoor ceremony or reception, you need to protect guests from the elements. Stock up on bug spray and sunscreen, serve chilled drinks if it's hot, hand out inexpensive wraps if it's chilly, or supple umbrellas for the rain. Use nonmetal chairs and sun shields if it's sunny. And get a sound system with microphones so everyone can hear your vows over the wind. As for post-wedding safety, have a list of local car services for guests who've been hitting the bottle too hard.

FAMILY: If you're inviting children, have a plan to keep them entertained so that they-and the adults around them-can enjoy the party. WOW! What else is there to say? You both are simply amazing. Thank you so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I never dreamed it could've been this perfect. Planning a wedding from out of town was trying at times but you made it happen. You were always there with a comforting email or just a cheerful voice on the other end of a phone call.

I remember when my mom called to tell me that she had hired you as our wedding planners. I was super excited. After our first "in person" meeting, I was ecstatic! I knew that we had made the right decision back then and even more so now.

The whole wedding weekend was simply perfect. Thank you both for all of your hardwork and attention to detail. You both are truly special and have a real gift. Wow, what can I even say about this April 10th WEDDING besides AMAZING!!! One of our dearest friends, Lyndsay, married the love of her life and we both were able to stand up next to her on her big day.

Now, since we were both bridesmaids our incredible assistant, Sam really took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly not only for Lyndsay and Tim but also so we could enjoy this special moment in our lives with one of our closet friends.

The night was spectacular. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Prince of Peace church and then had an over the top reception at one of our favorite venues of all times, LPGA International. We felt at peace the entire night knowing that Lorraine at LPGA and her professional staff had it all covered.

Jen was AMAZING. Honestly, there are no words that can describe what she did for us, celebrate! was beyond amazing. At first, I was undecided about hiring a planner, but after meeting with Jen from celebrate! I knew that because she was so professional and experienced, it was worth the extra money to hire her. I had no idea at that time how truly PRICELESS what she did for us would be. At our wedding, we had many crazy things happen- the best man was in an accident and couldn't make the wedding because he was in the hospital, our florist was 2 hours late with the flowers, table linens and decorations- you name it, it happened.I could not believe there was so much craziness, we are not dramatic people, and I never in my wildest dreams imagined that that would be "our" day. How they met...
"Ken and I met on the job. I was working in the emergency room at The Villages Regional Hospital and he was working for Lake Sumter EMS. I knew who he was but he didn't stand out at first. I was starting to become friends with one of his friends that he works with at Lake Sumter EMS. We became friends first. I realized that I wanted to get to know him better, however I was in my last semester at school. He told me he would be patient to start any relationship until I was done with school. After school our relationship grew."

How he proposed....
"Eight months later, Ken took me on a trip to St. Augustine. We had went there previously after school and enjoyed ourselves. On December 19th, we went on a boat tour. When we returned to the marina, Ken wanted to walk around for a little bit. I thought that it was odd, but I went along with him. We stayed over by the marina. He asked me if I knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Then he went on one knee and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said yes and here we are now, ready to plan for the happiest day of our lives."

Jenna & I would like to welcome Steve & Danielle to the celebrate! family!! We are so excited to share their special day with them. Read below to learn a little more about the cute couple and Steve's adorablely sweet proposal to Danielle.

Steve proposed on July 4, 2009. A few weeks before, he told me that we weregoing on a "surprise vacation" for the July 4th weekend and ended up takingme to the Sanderling Resort and Spa in Duck, NC. After a suspenseful weekleading up to the trip and drive there (during which I was guessingdifferent destinations based on the route we were taking) we arrived aroundnoon on Friday, July 3rd. That night, we had an amazing dinner on the beachdeck of the resort and were able to relax and enjoy being in paradise. During dinner, Steve suggested that we get up early the next morning towatch the sunrise on the beach, something we had never done togetherbefore. Of course, I was excited about doing anything where we could get some great pictures, so I was all in! Saturday morning, we woke up around 5:20 am, quickly grabbed a blanket, beach chairs and of course a camera and made our way down to the private beach. Before we could even set up our chairs I was excitedly taking pictures of the beautiful surroundings. Steve, who (after having to put upwith my picture taking habit) is normally a good sport with photographs, was even more enthusiastically than usual encouraging me to take
self-timer pictures from the conveniently located post at the bottom of the steps down from the dunes on to the beach. I was so excited about us taking perfect pictures of the sunrise that I was oblivious to the fact that he was using the time to finalize his proposal plan! Finally, he suggests we take one more picture, and walks to set up the self-timer. But instead of pushingthe self-timer, he puts the camera on video, walks back over, gives me a big kiss, gets down on his knee and asks me to marry him! We were the only people on the beach- it was very romantic and absolutely perfect. After the big moment, we were able to finish watching the sunrise, and share some very special time on the beach just talking about the excitement of our future together. Of course, at this time, it was about 6:30 am! So we headed back to our private balcony, celebrated with some champagne and chocolate covered cherries and strawberries (hand made by Steve!) and waited another hour or two to call our families and friends to share the wonderful news! (A special thanks to the guys in California for answering our call at 7:00 am their time, after a big night! Love you guys!) Before we had arrived at the resort, Steve had also arranged for us to get couples massages later in the morning. So around 11:00 we went to the spa, got massages and relived the magic of the morning. Then we hit the beach and enjoyed the Crab Fest event at the Sanderling for dinner. Blue crabs and shrimp... it was delicious! That night, we met up with Courtney & Jeff Fleming and Cortney & Clayton Allen for fireworks at the Fleming Beach houseand surprised them with the news! It was hard not to call them all day, butc elebrating with them in person was even better. It was an amazing, perfectday and a weekend we will never forget!

I have some very, very exciting news to share! Jenna & I have been approached by a television production company to star in our very own reality T.V. show!! We met with the film crew and the producer last week and are thrilled to say our meeting went very well!

What better way to showcase our strong love and passion for planning weddings? The show will be showcasing our glamorous and NOT so glamorous lives of being wedding planners. It will be based on the weddings we are planning, client consultations and the actual wedding day event. We will also be filmed on our personal lives outside of work and the experiences we go through. We can't be more thrilled and hope that once it airs everyone will watch!!

We will keep you posted on the status and details of the show.

Steve and I just got back from our honeymoon, and I wanted to tell you how much we appreciated all you did for us. The wedding was amazing and went just as I had it in my head. Which was a surprise because something usually goes wrong. If anything did we didn't know about it, you two were heaven sent. All of our guests keep raving about how it was the best wedding they've been to in a long time. And the choir was a huge hit, it was more than I expected,I got chills when the whole congregation started to sing along!

"Maddie's Challenge"
has been circulating on Facebook for the past few weeks and has reached thousands and thousands of people.

Maddie Poynter is an almost 3 year old, beautiful little girl who has been battling cancer since her diagnosis on June 20, 2009. She is scheduled to have surgery to remove "The Beast" this Thursday October 8th in Boston, MA at Boston Children's Hospital. A challenge has been presented all across the country to have as many people wear pink, Maddie's favorite color, in honor of Maddie, on Thursday, October 8th. Please have as many people that you know wear pink that day and take a photo. Once you have taken your photo please post a picture of you in your prettest pink outfit on "Maddies Challenge" Event page on Facebook. This will show Maddie and her family just how many people have been affected by Maddie's story and also to show how much support they have across the miles!!

The colors of autumn/fall are universally bright, bold, and rich.
