Little Ones: Flower Girl Attire

To be a flower girl is such a big honor to a little girl. She will feel so privileged and special that you have asked "her" to be in your wedding. This means she gets to live out the fantasy that every little girl has of walking down the aisle in "big girl" heels, a pretty dress, and of course hold some amazing flowers (whether it be petals to throw or a small bouquet to carry).

You want your little flower girl(s) to be coordinated with either your wedding dress or with your bridesmaids' attire. Here are some of favorite little dresses:

Little Ones: Ring Bearer Attire

I just love little tuxes and suits on youngsters, so ADORABLE!!! When planning your wedding, feel free to dress your little ring bearer in either a tux, suit, or a matching outfit to your groom. Just like a tux/suit for an older man, ring bearer attire to be form-fitting and look "sharp."

Dress your little ring bearer in satin or velvet in the colder months to keep him warm and a light weight linen suit for those warmer months. I also highly suggest that you get him a boutonniere to match the other groomsman.

Here are some of my favorite "little man" outfits:

Great Wedding Find: SoulMates

Are you planning an outside wedding? Will you be walking through grass, dirt, sand, etc and are concerned about waking through it with your beautiful wedding shoes? Not only will your shoes get dirty but you could possible trip from the uneven ground.

Well now brides and bridesmaids you do not need to worry about walking outside. The SoleMates has made an incredible little plastic slip-on for your heels to help you through all the dirt and grime.

Here is a little background from this great wedding find's website:

"Discreet and easy to use, the SoleMates High Heeler attaches easily to most stiletto and kitten heels. By increasing the surface area on the base of the heel, it reduces the pressure on this area and prevents the heel from sinking into grass or falling into cracks.

The patented design of the SoleMates High Heeler is mechanically engineered to fit snugly on most heels and yet the flexible material grips securely without damaging the heel or compromising the ascetics of the shoe."

The SoleMates High Heeler has been featured in numerous bridal magazines and other publications. They have numerous retail locations across the country or you can order online directly from them at www.thesolemates.com.

Amazing THANK YOU letter!

Dear Jenna and Jen,

WOW! What else is there to say? You both are simply amazing. Thank you so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I never dreamed it could've been this perfect. Planning a wedding from out of town was trying at times but you made it happen. You were always there with a comforting email or just a cheerful voice on the other end of a phone call.
I remember when my mom called to tell me that she had hired you as our wedding planners. I was super excited. After our first "in person" meeting, I was ecstatic! I knew that we had made the right decision back then and even more so now.
The whole wedding weekend was simply perfect. Thank you both for all of your hardwork and attention to detail. You both are truly special and have a real gift. We are so sad that our wedding is over but hopfully we can still keep in touch. You are wonderful and we are so lucky to have had you with us during the whole process and on our big day. We will never forget it! The day was magical. I will always remember walking into the reception for our "sneak peek" and my eyes filling up with tears of amazement and joy. I was overwhelemed! None of it would've been possible without you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you and can't thank you enough for everything!

Love,
Kendall & Trevor Heaton

Lyndsay and Tim

Wow, what can I even say about this April 10th WEDDING besides AMAZING!!! One of our dearest friends, Lyndsay, married the love of her life and we both were able to stand up next to her on her big day.
Now, since we were both bridesmaids our incredible assistant, Sam really took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly not only for Lyndsay and Tim but also so we could enjoy this special moment in our lives with one of our closet friends.
The night was spectacular. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Prince of Peace church and then had an over the top reception at one of our favorite venues of all times, LPGA International. We felt at peace the entire night knowing that Lorraine at LPGA and her professional staff had it all covered.

Check out the sneak peak of Leah Jean Photography's breathtaking work at the wedding. Here is an amazing wedding board Leah made to showcase some of her favorite pictures.

Congrats Lyndz-y and Dub, we LOVE YOU!!!

Creative Guest Book Ideas

One element of your wedding day is having a guest book for your guests to sign for you to keep as a memorabilia from your wedding. Since it is 2010, many celebrate!LLC brides and grooms are requesting a fun, modern type of guest book. Here are a few trendy options for your keepsake:
Have a photobooth at your wedding for your guest to snap their pictures and then sign a message to you
Have your guests sign a keepsake plate and show it off in your new house
For the couple who loves music, have your guests sign a old record

Have your guests sign a blank photo mat around one of your beautiful engagement pictures to later be hung in your house

For the creative couple who wants an interesting piece of art displayed in their house, have your guests sign little pieces of glass and then hang them on wire
