So I love hearing of new fun things for couples to give their guests as a favor or to their guest in a welcome basket upon arrival at their hotel for the wedding weekend. Well, sometimes it takes being a little creative, or searching the web for hours, or my new trick hearing what people have done for different reasons and make them into a favor.
One of my new favorite photographers, Dawn McCarthy, posted this great present up on her blog. She made these cute little hot chocolate gifts for her son's class and I think it would be a perfect favor if you have a wedding the next couple of months in this cold weather. A Quick Last Minute Gift
Have a look at these adorable little "hot chocolate ice cream cones." I got this idea from the Oprah show and I just loved it! I made one for each child in Austin's first grade class. The kids thought they were so cool! This is a quick and super cute last minute gift idea. Here is the process...
Grab a pack of Wilton icing cones
A large container of loose hot chocolate mix
A bag of miniature marshmallows
A bag of chocolate chips
Some direction tags and twist ties
Measure out 1/3 cup of hot chocolate mix and pour into clear cones. Add a handful of miniature marshmallows and a few chocolate chips. Put your direction label through your twist tie and your done! It's that simple!
