It was such a pleasure planning Trina and Tom's wedding in ONLY 10 DAYS at The Lodge at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast, Florida. The couple was so incredibly sweet, the room was so romantic, and the night enchanting. Thanks to all my amazing vendors who helped to pull off this amazing affair--The Lodge at Hammock Beach, Leah Jean Photography, SR Enchantment-Simply Roses Florist, and Paradise Cheesecakes.

Welcome Brittany and Chad

Welcome Brittany and Chad to the celebrate! family! We are so excited to be part of your very special day.

One of my favorite parts of getting to know our new clients is finding out the story of how they got engaged. Here's how Chad asked Brittany to marry him (according to Brittany):
Friday, June 12th, 2009...Chad took Brittany to a small public dock overlooking Lake Virginia in Winter Park across from Rollins College where they went on their first date in high school after they had lunch at Brandywines. He proposed there at the dock- with their dog, Rusty by his side :)! After he proposed they went to lunch at Brandywines on Park Avenue to celebrate where they went on their first date. After lunch Chad also surprised Brittany with a house at the beach for the weekend in New Smyrna to celebrate! They had a great weekend and are looking forward to June 12th, 2010!

How to Choose Your Perfect Wedding Invitations

Choosing your wedding invitations encompasses much more than how many you will need to send out and what the invitation should say. Your wedding invitation is the first glance your guests will get of your special day. Everything from the wording to the design to the color of the invitation should be thought of with great care.

Here are some guidelines to go by when you are choosing your wedding invitations:
  • Make sure the invitation goes with your wedding theme. EX. If you are having a fall wedding with the color scheme of burnt orange and chocolate brown, make sure you are not choosing a spring time orange and silver invitation.
  • Have a professional help you to word the invitation so your guests are able to find the information they need easily.
  • Choose a font that will be used throughout the wedding, from the menu cards to the placecards to the wedding programs, etc.
  • If you are planning on using your monogram at all in any part of your wedding decor, consider incorporating this on your invitation as well.

Fall is Coming

I just love the fall and am so excited it will be here soon. I cannot wait to see all the fall weddings, using beautiful color schemes of oranges, reds, and browns. Here are a few photos to start getting you inspired:
Don't be afraid to add the fall to your centerpieces, aren't these just so dramatic???
Add a touch a fall to your bouquet by incorporating flowers in dark fall hues of color.

Your wedding cake is the perfect place to add a fall touch, use deep rich fall colors to make your cake stand out!

New Review on WeddingWire

Quality of Service: (5.0/5.0) Responsiveness: (5.0/5.0)Professionalism: (5.0/5.0) Value For Cost:(5.0/5.0) Flexibility:(5.0/5.0)
From: Molly Wedding: 05/23/2009
This might just have been the best money I spent on my wedding! As the Type-A bride who planned every little detail, as the day got closer, I started to freak out that on the day-of, I would be the only one who knew what was going on. (I was even having crazy wedding anxiety dreams where I would arrive on my wedding day with only the services and vendors I had booked at that point in real life: in the first one, I didn't have a dress. Then, I had a dress and no flowers. Then, I had a dress, and flowers, and my brother showed up in blue jeans to walk me down the aisle because we hadn't booked tuxes. It was started to wear me down.) I hired the girls at celebrate! to give me wedding-day peace of mind, and boy, were they worth it. They took my contracts and managed things for a couple of months out (not bad for a "day-of" package). They met with me, reviewed my checklists, created my time line, made sure I booked the last little details (or helped me book them) and were integral in getting everything together (and making sure nothing was forgotten!) the day before and day of. The wedding nightmares ceased as soon as I hired them and I was dreaming peacefully up until my perfect day. I knew that someone besides me was the common thread running through all my vendors. (Plus, they paid for themselves when my florist forgot a few flower details and they whipped out the contract to show her that we had it in writing. . .I got a refund from the florist for those missed details.) Ask yourself, would you spend $20,000 or $30,000 on a broadway production only to skimp on hiring a stage manager? My wedding was a beautiful production and these girls were my beautiful, professional, and invaluable stage managers. Hire them! You will sleep easier.
