The Perfect Rehearsal Dinner

Planning a perfect rehearsal dinner? Want to make sure the rehearsal dinner is memorable but is unique enough from your wedding? Here are a few simple rules to follow:

1. Host your rehearsal dinner at a separate venue than your wedding reception. Think about having the dinner at a local restaurant, art gallery, museum, or plantation.

2. Choose a unique color scheme that is different enough from your wedding reception.

3. Have your florist create centerpieces that are fun and will tell the guests about you as a couple. For example, if you and your fiance love Gator Football ask your florist to use blue and orange flowers.

4. Make sure your menu is not the exact same as the dinner the next night. If you are planning to serve Filet Mignon and Grilled Shrimp at the wedding reception, plan on serving Chicken Oscar and Salmon at the rehearsal dinner.

5. Place fun tablecloths on the dinner tables that will go with your rehearsal dinner theme. Think red and white checkered cloths for your Italian dinner theme.
