Castle Ottis

Casa Monica

The White Room

Buff Brides: JOIN YOUR LOCAL GYM

My favorite thing to do to stay in shape is go to my gym. I love the diversity a gym offers. For my brides trying to get BUFF I suggest this highly because there are just so many things to do.

You can join the spinning classes, burn calories on the many options of cardio machines, lift free weights, hire a personal trainer and participate in the numerous classes offered. One of the great local gyms in the Volusia County area is Gold's Gym in Ormond Beach. This rather new facility has top of the line equipment, great fun classes to get you motivated, and a great staff.

Buff Brides: RUNNING MARATHONS

A great way to get into shape for your wedding is to train for a marathon near your hometown. Training for a marathon will keep you motivated towards a goal and keep you exercising on a daily basis.

Benefits of Running:

• weight loss
• improved cardiovascular health
• improved bone health
• improved mood
• better coordination

Some marathons taking place around our area:

1. Gate River Run in Jacksonville, Florida March 14, 2009

2. Space Coast Marathon in Melbourne, Florida November 29, 2009

3. Disney's Half Marathon in Orlando, Florida January 9, 2010

4. Disney's Full Marathon in Orlando, Florida January 10, 2010

Buff Brides: YOGA

A great way to get in shape for your wedding day is YOGA. Jen and I went and tried out this great yoga house in Ormond Beach, Hot House Yoga, and let me tell you, it is INSANE!!! We both were amazed by the workout we received.

Some of the benefits of yoga:

• pain free body
• increased flexibility
• increased strength
• getting sick less often
• complete detoxification
• excellent toning of muscles

Yoga is great for the mind, body, and soul. This class will not only get you in shape for your big day but will also ease your wedding stress!!!

Visit Hot House Yoga online to get more information on their classes.

Amanda's Breathtaking Invitations

I just so love Amanda's invitation pick that I just had to share it with everyone. Amanda chose a beautifully elegant black and white invitation from our "Something Different" collection. This invitation goes with her stunning wedding theme.

Buff Brides

One of the things I hear the most from our brides is that they want to get in shape for their wedding day. Whether its wanting to shed that stubborn 5 pounds or just getting your back in shape for your backless dress, this week we are going to explore some great local businesses that can help you get in your perfect wedding shape.

GATOR FANS....CAKE TOPPERS

So as you all know by now, Jen and I are HUGE!!! Gator fans. With that being said, it does seem that we get quite a bit of clients who are also HUGE GATOR FANS. So...I thought it would be fun to showcase some fun wedding cake toppers that are gator inspired. Here we go:
